Marion Cotillard: Double Vision
Instead of reading the Qur’an like a good Muslim girl, on this first day of Ramadan I decided to read the latest edition of Vogue (my apologies, Higher Power!). I’ve always had an girl-crush on this terrific French thespian and was so incredibly delighted to see the woman who I consider to be one of the most beautiful women on the planet gracing the fashion mag’s The Age Issue.
When reading Tom Shone’s profile on the actress, I learned that she is more than just a pretty face - she champions for nature at Greenpeace, sings and plays the bass for Yodélice and is really, really tired (three movies and baby might take its toll on the body and mind, I suppose!).
In the lensed Peter Lindbergh shoot above, Cotillard channels luxe bohemian and calculated French sophistication, wearing the likes of Salvatore Ferragamo, Ralph Lauren, Burberry Prorsum (DAT VELVET JACKET!), Balmain, and Alexander McQueen. Surprisingly, no Dior…très intéressant!
